Williams Grads achieve coveted legal traineeships

Nine of our 2007 graduates have accepted traineeships with top Sydney legal firms Minter Ellison, Blake Dawson Waldron, Mallesons Stephen Jaques and Henry Davis York. They were among Executive PA students who undertook a Legal Studies Major last year.

They worked under the mentorship of Mignon Bly, one of our lecturers who also prepares students for entry to legal firms. Mrs Bly began teaching at Williams in 1995, and the students appreciate her knowledge and contacts in the industry. Mrs Bly herself has had ample experience in the administrative field; she and a colleague at the time developed and ran a practical legal secretarial course for a business college in Melbourne. As at Williams today, her students in Melbourne gained employment with top City law firms upon graduation.
