Events management belongs in the Tourism and Hospitality industries, and our Advanced Diplomas in Tourism and Hospitality Management include these subjects as a matter of course. But a knowledge of this exciting and developing industry can also be a useful addition to anyone doing business management, marketing or administration.

Availability

You may nominate Events Management as your required major in any of the following courses:

• ASER Dip of Administration majoring in Events Management
• MMER ADip of Management majoring in Events Management
• MKER ADip of Marketing majoring in Events Management

You may nominate Events Management as an optional major in the following course, but note that the duration of the course will be increased by 10 weeks:

• MDER ADip of Management and Marketing majoring in Events Management

Content

This major provides knowledge of the structure, operation and technology of the events industry, and the skills required for concept development, venue selection, and the management of sponsorship activities.
