human resources major
The program
Williams has built a strong reputation in practical administration training for over a century, and our graduates have never been more in demand. That’s because Williams has a reputation with top employers for arming our secretaries and Personal Assistants with the right skills, knowledge and attitudes. An executive PA is an integral part of a management team, and we find
that many of our graduates move into management roles in the years after
they leave College.
The Human Resources major will appeal to those with good people skills who would like to work in the HR secion of a larger business.

Our flagship Diploma in Business Administration develops leadership and analytical capabilities needed to manage an office independently, or function in a larger organisation as an integral part of the management team. It includes all of the practical underpinning business and computer skills taught at the Certificate III and Certificate IV levels.
Human Resources, as the name suggests, is the area within management that deals with the people employed by a business - finding, interviewing and hiring them, and making sure all aspects of their employment are lawful and designed to promote a happy and productive workforce.
Please note that subjects may be changed at the discretion of the College to keep them up to date, to comply with industry Training Package requirements, or for timetabling purposes.
